We took part in dressing up races, batten races, egg and spoon races and many more. We enjoyed cheering our peers on. We then had a celebration ceremony. We collected our medals and certificates and enjoyed celebrating sportsmanship.

We Are Scientists!

January 2024

In Pink Class, we have been investigating rocks as part of our Science topic. We have been using magnifying glasses to look at the features of different types of rocks. We then learnt about igneous rocks, we picked different coloured starbursts to mould together. We then placed the starbursts into the microwave to create ‘lava’. Once the starbursts were bubbling, we took it out of the microwave and watched it solidify to create a ‘rock’. Some of us may even have tried to eat it!

As part of our Religious Education topic, we learnt about Diwali and how the festival is celebrated. We created Diya's using salt dough, we then decorated the Diya's using different colours.

first bus trip of the year

September 2023

Earlier this term Pink Class had their first bus trip to Queens Park. We loved playing on the swings and in the sandpit, we also looked at the buildings we drove past. The sun was shining and enjoyed our snack time in the park whilst watching the ducks. In food technology, we have been learning how to make cakes. We followed our recipe and even tried some of them. They were delicious.
