Construction Challenge

Do you like making models using construction kits? If so then this is the group for you. Every week there will be a challenge to complete using different building sets where you can develop your skills and imagination

Children have been enjoying taking part in Construction Club as part of their Enrichment sessions, every Wednesday afternoon this term.

We have focused on developing our fine motor skills, teamwork, creativity, spatial awareness, and communication,  all through engaging, hands-on building activities using a wide range of materials and manipulatives. We have been using a range of different materials to explore construction and building including wooden blocks, large and small building blocks, sticky bricks and multilink. We have explored building towers and bridges, homes and vehicles and movement. We will be completing a junk modelling challenge at the end of term to end the year. The children have had a great time exploring different materials and types of construction, and have worked really well together.

Can we build it? Yes we can!
